Tony Rabalao is a Toronto-based live performance and session drummer. Tony's technical and creative proficiency spans multiple musical styles, evidenced by his extensive international touring experience and appearances on hundreds of albums and television/radio commercials. Tony is also a founding member of the Juno-nominated alt-rock band Joydrop.
Touring and performing has taken Tony all over the world, where he’s graced the stage with such artists as: Big Sugar, K-os, Bass is Base, Shakura S’Aida, Redman, Socrates, Blinker The Star, Grammy-Award winner Thelma Houston, Canadian Walk of Fame inductee Salome Bey, Lee Oskar (War), blues legend Ronnie Baker Brooks and Juno-nominee Julian Taylor (to name a few), and he was the musical director for Canadian Idol winners, Kalan Porter, and Eva Avila.

Performances range from smaller, more intimate venues like CBGB and L.A.’s The Whiskey, to live televised Juno and Much Music Video Awards appearances, to large festivals like Edgefest, SummerSault, Mainstage at the Montreal Jazz Festival and everything in between.

Currently, Tony is performing with Bedouin Soundclash and Juno nominee SATE, and recently performed with Kiesza.
